While what is "needed" is perfection, it will always be a goal never to be acheived.

What hampers standards is seeking to be to perfect before release. While policies need to be stable, standards need to evolve with technology and maturity of systems to allow for needed change. The comments I see both pro and con on this issue lead me to this being a valid first step, and that the review of the next step in the standards should be undertaken as soon as practicable.

For this reason I vote YES, but want to urge opening the discussion on the next iteration of the standard as soon as practicable to address concerns an the move forward of technology and architecture.
