As per March 14 2012 the TC decided to move forward with a proposal to modify the charter of the TC. The proposal for the rechartering can be found on the TC Wiki page: http://wiki.oasis-open.org/bdx/Recharter
The purpose of the BDX TC was to define specifications for a lightweight and federated messaging infrastructure supporting a 4-corner model for the secure and reliable exchange of electronic documents. In May 2012, the work was transitioned to the rechartered OASIS BDXR TC.
