Overview

The OASIS Key-Value Database Application Interface (KVDB) TC is chartered to define an open application programming interface for managing and accessing data from database systems based upon a key-value model. The Standards Track deliverables being produced by TC members include abstract models of key-value based database systems, requirements for key-value based database systems, and application programming interfaces to manage key-value based database systems. Other Non-Standards Track materials are under consideration, but the following are out of scope: authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms and protocols; database systems based on models other than key-value; key-value based storage other than database systems.

For more information on the KVDB TC, see the TC Charter.
