Call for consent of OSLC Core V3.0 and OSLC Query V3.0 as OASIS Standards

Please make 2 selections below to indicate whether the listed Project Specifications should become OASIS Standards.

OSLC Core V3.0 PS02 and OSLC Query V3.0 PS01 have been presented to the membership by the OSLC Open Project [1] as candidates for OASIS Standard.

The OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) initiative applies Linked Data principles, such as those defined in the W3C Linked Data Platform (LDP), to create a cohesive set of specifications that can enable products, services, and other distributed network resources to interoperate successfully.

OSLC Core defines the overall approach to Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration based specifications and capabilities that extend and complement the W3C Linked Data Platform. The OP received 3 Statements of Use from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, SodiusWillert, and IBM [2].

OSLC Query provides a mechanism for a client to query or search for RDF resources that match a given criteria. The response to a successful query includes the RDF of a query result container that references the member resources found by the query, and optionally includes selected properties of each member resource. The OP has received 3 Statements of Use from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Koneksys, and IBM [3].

This is a call to the Organizational Members of OASIS to consent or object to this approval. You are welcome to register your consent explicitly on the ballot; however your consent is assumed unless you register an objection [4]. To register an objection, you must:

1. Indicate your objection on this ballot, and

2. Provide a reason for your objection and/or a proposed remedy to the OP Project Governing Board (PGB).

You may provide the reason in the comment box or by email to the Open Project on its general mailing list [5]. If you provide your reason by email, please indicate in the subject line that this is in regard to the Call for Consent. Note that failing to provide a reason and/or remedy may result in an objection being deemed invalid.
